This lifetime ranking is separate from logo clicks, public practice progress and the 3,171-point game unlock. Core Mastery recognizes the current starter path, not expertise in an entire profession.

Team announcements
Connect Classroom announcements
Share published, class-wide announcements with approved portal members. Posts for selected students stay in Classroom. Attachments retain their existing Google permissions.
- Download the script and its settings below. Create a private Google Apps Script project using your Classroom teacher account.
- Paste Code.gs into the editor. In Project Settings, enable “Show appsscript.json manifest file in editor,” then replace that file with the downloaded appsscript.json.
- Create a setup code below. In the script’s Project Settings → Script properties, add PORTAL_SYNC_TOKEN and paste the code as its value.
- Run installTeamClassroomSync and review Google’s authorization request. It reads announcements, delivers them to this portal, and schedules checks about every five minutes. Return here and refresh to verify the first sync.
Shown only now. Keep the script and code private. Creating a new code replaces the previous connection.
If syncing stops for more than 20 minutes, imported posts are hidden until it recovers. To stop the Google schedule too, run stopTeamClassroomSync in your script.

How your messages are protected
On the live portal, messages are encrypted in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest in our Cloudflare D1 database. Google sign-in and coach approval are required. Access is checked by the server on every request.
These are shared, coach-moderated channels, not end-to-end encrypted conversations. Approved channel members can read messages; coaches can review reports and remove posts. Authorized site administrators and hosting providers can access stored data. The Coaches room is restricted to coaches.
Messages and drafts are not saved in browser storage by the chat feature and are cleared from the page when you sign out. Someone who can view a message can still copy it or take a screenshot. Use your own device, sign out on shared devices, and keep passwords, private contact details and student records out of chat.
Messages remain in channel history until removed. Removal clears the message text from the active database; moderation records and provider backups may remain. Contact your head coach about privacy or removal requests.

School email matches signups to approved portal accounts. A signup never grants access automatically.
Import signup results from CSV
Download the private response sheet as CSV and import it here to refresh the comparison. Automatic sync is not enabled. Only names, school emails, grades, and signup timestamps are saved. Existing signups are updated by email.
Membership approvals & roles
Use role badges to distinguish students, alumni, mentors, parents, spectators and coaches. Spectators can only use the logo clicker and its nickname scoreboard. Parent accounts have standard approved-member access; they cannot view another member's private attendance or suggestions. Only the head coach can assign roles. Coach roles allow chat moderation; private attendance administration remains restricted to the head coach.
Approve only verified team members. Login email is the email on their Google account; school email connects their signup record. Students can sign in with Google and request membership. Approve their verified account here, or add an approved email in advance.
